Welcome to Tickety Boo! A family run venture formed by Rachel Nelson and located in the heart of the Surrey countryside.

Rachel graduated from the University of Creative Arts with a Photography degree, from family portraiture, and events such as weddings; she has a talented eye for photography and can be hired for any occasion.

Crocheting is our main passion, which began in Italy in 2011, when Rachel was first taught by her Great Aunty. "In Italy you cannot visit any home without seeing crocheted items dotted around. My first project was a blanket, when I made 400 granny squares, then I was 'hooked'". Apart from blankets, we make crochet designs with a modern twist, from bunting to bridal bouquets, each piece is made with love and care; there is no limit to what we can make.

Rachel has an artistic flair to create handmade, personal and unique designs for any event. The attention to detail and high quality of work is what makes our products something that can be treasured forever. Our inspiration comes from traditional sources made with a modern twist.

Rachel is able to transform any event utilising her craft skills in order to make decorations with a creative edge. She sources her materials with a budget in mind and searches craft stalls and charity shops to find original and vintage items.
